Four responses to emergency calls are on the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department’s Activity Summary for yesterday – an automatic fire detection signal, assisting a party up, answering a call from a sick person, and a possible house fire – dual response with Fort Calhoun’s Fire and Rescue Department, but both agencies were cancelled due to a false alarm. Responses on Tuesday include a seizure, a sick person, an injured person and a possible car accident with dual response with Kennard’s crews – but both departments were cancelled before going enroute. Monday’s calls – just two, one for a medical nature unknown and one for a person suffering chest pain.
