The West Point-Beemer School Board met for their regular monthly meeting in the School’s Media Center Monday night. Superintendent DJ Weddle says when it comes to the Summer Lunch Program, they have seen an increase in numbers.
Weddle attributes the increase to giving out gallons of milk every week and having a pick up point at the school as opposed to various places around town where people had to be at a certain time in the past.
The Board also heard an update from Weddle on two potential projects with Clark & Enersen.Weddle says there’s a need to make the press box bigger.
Weddle commented on the potential project involving the preschool.
The School Board will next meet on Monday, August 10th at 6:30 p.m.
