The West Point City Council met in regular session in City Council Chambers Tuesday night. City Administrator Tom Goulette says the council took action on the propane tank at 13th and Mill Street.
The Council also set the Budget Workshop for Thursday, July 23rd at 4:30 p.m.
Goulette says the council discussed “No Parking” on a portion of Colfax Street.
Goulette says as far as Ebikes and Scooters around town go, things have gotten a little better, but there’s still a concern about their use in town.
Goulette says the council also considered the continuance of the sales and use tax of one-half percent upon transactions within the City of West Point for the LB840 Economic Development Program.
Goulette says the Rivermist Subdivision Project is going well, adding that the Water Sewer is all in and they’re doing the Water Service Lines right now, the paving crew is looking at doing some paving work before the end of the week, and the Storm Drain is all in place with some clean up work to do in the Drain and Retention Basin.
