NORFOLK, NE —Summit Contracting has officially broken ground on its new Norfolk facility, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to serving agricultural producers and rural communities across Northeast Nebraska.
Located at 3406 Bradford Avenue, the new facility will strengthen Summit Contracting’s ability to support customers throughout the region with grain bins and systems, post-frame and steel buildings, alongside additional services.
Summit Contracting first established its Norfolk presence in 2024 to better serve customers across Northeast Nebraska. Since then, the company has experienced steady growth throughout the region, creating the need for a new facility designed to better support its team, operations, and the customers it serves.
The new Norfolk location represents the next chapter of that growth, reinforcing Summit’s long-term investment in the community and commitment to providing local expertise, responsive service, and strong customer relationships.
“Norfolk has been a great community for Summit Contracting, and we’re grateful for the relationships we’ve built here,” said Jerad Hutchens, President of Summit Contracting. “Our current Norfolk location has allowed us to better serve producers throughout Northeast Nebraska, and this new facility is an investment in the people who make that possible—our customers, employees, and the communities we serve. We’re excited to continue growing alongside them for years to come.”
The new facility will provide expanded office space, operational support, equipment storage, and room for future growth as Summit continues expanding its ag construction services throughout Nebraska and the surrounding region.
Construction on the new Norfolk facility is underway, with completion anticipated this fall.
