June 25, 2026 (Norfolk, Neb.) — Weather permitting, installation of CCTV cameras to monitor road conditions at the following locations will begin on Monday, July 6th, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation:
- N-12 at its junction with 8th Street in Crofton (reference post 189.14)
- N-13 at its junction with N-121 (reference post 13.82)
- N-45 at its junction with N-91 (reference post 0.00)
- N-51 at its junction with US-74 (reference post 35.51)
- US-275 at its junction with N-57 (reference post 86.09)
- N-57 at its junction with N-59 (reference post 54.86)
- US-20 at its junction with N-116 (reference post 399.39)
- US-30 at its junction with County Road 3 by Richland (reference post 387.22)
- US-81 at its junction with N-98 (reference post 170.94)
Commonwealth Electric Company of the Midwest is the contractor for the project. Work includes installation of CCTV towers and cameras, electrical conduit and related electrical installations, and seeding operations. Traffic will be maintained with temporary traffic control devices throughout construction. Anticipated to be completed this September.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
