The Nebraska High School Rodeo season continued over the weekend with stops in Thedford and Stapleton, featuring several strong performances from area competitors.
Among the highlights, Broken Bow’s Kelstyn Lindner captured the bull riding title at Stapleton with a 73-point ride after also winning the bareback riding in Thedford with a score of 69. Brynne McCully of Mullen posted the top breakaway roping time in Stapleton at 2.32 seconds, while Milburn’s Cazen Coffman-Smith claimed the saddle bronc riding title with a 65-point ride. Thedford’s Tate Johnston also earned a first-place finish in boys cutting with a 73 score.
