The three victims of a Friday night plane crash at the Platte River south of Fremont have been identified.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the small aircraft was traveling along the river when it went down at around 8:15 Friday night, resulting in the death of all three individuals aboard.
The victims have been identified as 43-year-old Daniel Williams of Moundridge, Kansas; 50-year-old Jeff Bittinger and 48-year-old Randy Amrein, both of Fremont.
Along with the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, multiple other agencies assisted in the incident.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board have taken over the investigation.
