The Stanton County Sheriff’s office announced it last night, the Nebraska Department of Transportation reiterated today that the N-15 Platte River Bridge south of Schuyler is closed for emergency repairs until further notice. Detour signs are in place for local traffic. That detour, outlined on this article, consists of using Highway 30 or 64 for east to west movement and Highway 81 to the west of the closed bridge for north and south travel. A recent bridge inspection found damage which is prompting that closure while further assessment and repair are accomplished. This according to a news release from NDOT.
