Pender Community Health has received a grant for over 700 thousand, through Nebraska’s Rural Health Transformation Program, to support the first phase of a facility renovation. That renovation will help expand space for outpatient specialty and behavioral health services. CEO of Pender Community Health, Laura Gamble, says she wants patients to receive care close to home and the organization is committed to finding ways to make it possible.
