Ronnie passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at Franciscan Healthcare in West Point, NE.
Ronald Lee Breitkreutz was born on May 23, 1936 in Pender, NE to John and Anna (Gilster) Breitkreutz. He attended school and graduated from Wisner High School. Ronnie worked for Degner Electric after graduation. In 1959, he began serving in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1962.
Upon returning from serving his country, Ronnie worked for Degner Electric in Wisner, NE.
On November 30, 1963, he was united in marriage to Mary Jane Mendlik at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wisner, NE. Ronnie owned and operated Breitkreutz Electric in Wisner for many years until his retirement.
Ronnie was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wisner, NE. He loved to go fishing and enjoyed reading.

Several nieces and nephews also survive him.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents-John and Anna Breitkreutz, and three brothers-Richard, Francis, and Melvin Breitkreutz.
