(Photo courtesy of Washington County, NE Chamber of Commerce) KTIC news reported on plans by the Washington County Fair Board, announced in late July, to move some existing buildings and construct a new Ag Pavilion at the fairgrounds in Arlington. Work on that expected to start shortly after the conclusion of the Fair. The board followed through on that plan…the fair concluded Wednesday. Members of the fair board gathered for the Groundbreaking Ceremony on the concluding day of the Fair. The Washington County Chamber of Commerce, of which the fair is a part of, says the new Ag Pavilion will house livestock, a new show arena and spaces for ag education events, community gatherings and training programs year round.
