Several emergency vehicles from two departments battled a fire at the Norfolk Crush Soybean Plant in the overnight hours. The fire was brought under control after 3 hours and was located in the bagging unit according to Norfolk Fire officials. Hadar Fire and Rescue provided mutual aid in this incident. No injuries were reported. Company representatives say the incident will not impact production.
