Two Nebraska ag startups named finalists in Farm Bureau Ag Innovation Challenge

Two Nebraska agriculture startups are among 10 teams competing for the top prize in the 2027 Farm Bureau Ag Innovation Challenge.

Lincoln-based Nave Analytics and Nebraska startup Seismi are semifinalists in the national competition highlighting entrepreneurs developing solutions to agriculture’s biggest challenges.

Nave Analytics is focused on improving irrigation efficiency by combining data from satellites, sensors and crop models to help farmers make more informed water management decisions.

Seismi is developing livestock monitoring technology designed to track animal vital signs and provide earlier warnings of health issues, including potential detection of bovine respiratory disease before visible symptoms appear.

Finalists:

  • Animal Deterrent Solutions – Texas
  • Clean Label Solution – New York
  • Clear Grain Co. – Kentucky
  • Gilly – California
  • Good Agriculture – Georgia
  • Nave Analytics – Nebraska
  • Rootline Robotics – New York
  • Seismi – Nebraska
  • Swinergy – Minnesota
  • URMRKT – Oklahoma

The semifinalists will compete in a virtual pitch round this fall, with the top four advancing to the American Farm Bureau Convention in January. The winning team will receive a total of $100,000 in startup funding.
