Another name will be added to the ballot in November. Former state senator Brett Lindstrom yesterday submitted nearly 5800 signatures to the Secretary of State’s Office. Lindstrom will be running as an independent candidate for Governor. Lindstrom has chosen his running mate as well – Mike Picard. If all signatures are verified, the two will be running against incumbent Governor Jim Pillen, a Republican, former state senator Lynn Walz, the democratic candidate and Rick Beard of the Legal Marijuana NOW Party.
