It’s been years since Garth Brooks did multiple nights of sold out shows at arenas in downtown Omaha, Lincoln, and Sioux Falls. But could that be about to change? Early this morning (7/7/26) a teaser video posted to Garth’s social media showed his old drum pod used years ago in his arena shows. The drum kit was dusty, and Garth voiced that it had been years since it was used in his shows and said, “maybe it’s time we put you back to work.” That post, made around 2:00AM, was followed about four hours later with a video announcing the first dates of a new tour – Garth Brooks “Blame it All on My Roots – The Arena Tour” kicking off August 21st and 22nd in Indianapolis. So far, those are the only dates announced for the tour which will have the Country superstar back in arena venues. For several years Garth has done stadium shows, including a historic August 2021 concert at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln which almost 90,000 fans attended.
