Memorial services for Carol (Schulz) Stevens age 61 of Glendale, AZ will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Point, NE with Rev. John Gierke officiating.  A luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall.  Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Minnick Funeral Home in West Point is assisting the family with arrangements.

Carol passed away on May 29, 2026 at her home in Glendale, AZ surrounded by family.

Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church, ivybraintumorcenter.org, graymattersfoundation.org/donate, or to a charity of your choosing in Carol’s name.

Carol Dawn (Schulz) Stevens was born on December 1, 1964 in West Point, NE to Duane and Ardith (Ott) Schulz.  She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Point.  Carol attended St. Paul Lutheran School and graduated from West Point High School in 1983.  She received an Associates Degree from Southeast Community College in Lincoln, NE.

Carol moved to Phoenix, AZ and began working in the insurance industry in 1986, spending the last 30 years with Nationwide Insurance Company.

On October 19, 1996, she was united in marriage to Brian Stevens in Phoenix, AZ.  Together they have one son-Zackery.

Carol had a group of close friends that called themselves the “Good Time Girls”, they enjoyed getting together regularly and traveling on weekend trips.

Survivors include her husband-Brian, son-Zackery, parents-Duane and Ardith Schulz, brother-Brian (Kathy) Schulz, brother-in-law-Jerry (Michele) Anderson, nephews and nieces-Travis Anderson, Nikki Plemons and son Owen, Austin (Tawny) Schulz and Chance Anderson, father-in-law-Lynn “Doc” (Janice) Stevens, mother-in-law-Diana Dial, aunts, uncles, and cousins, The Good Time Girls and many other friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her sister-Diane Anderson, and nephew-Ben Plemons.
