On Monday afternoon just before 4:45 p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office had contact with a vehicle on Highway 275 about 13 miles east of Norfolk. The driver, 47-year old Zachary Thatcher, of Omaha, was found to have a suspended license after three prior DWI convictions. He was then taken into custody on the felony charge and jailed pending the posting of a cash bond. His vehicle was towed from Highway 275 and impounded.
