The Nebraska High School Rodeo Association wrapped up its final regular-season rodeos before State Finals with stops in Bridgeport, Harrison and Crawford, while Nebraska bareback rider Gauge McBride continues to build momentum on the professional rodeo circuit.
The weekend belonged to Remi Wells, who collected multiple event wins and all-around titles. Wells won barrel racing at all three rodeos and added victories in goat tying and girls cutting at Bridgeport. She also claimed the girls all-around championship in both Bridgeport and Crawford as competitors made their final push toward qualification for the Nebraska High School Rodeo State Finals in Valentine.
Other standout performances included Kanin Heath winning bareback riding in both Harrison and Crawford, Grady Gorwill taking saddle bronc titles in Bridgeport and Crawford, and Allyx Forre earning wins in goat tying and girls cutting during the weekend.
