Nebraska Rural Radio Association to hold 75th annual meeting June 16 in Kearney

The Nebraska Rural Radio Association, the nation’s only farmer- and rancher-owned radio group, will hold its 75th annual meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the Younes Conference Center South in Kearney.

The annual gathering brings together members from across Nebraska to reflect on the organization’s legacy while looking ahead to future opportunities for rural broadcasting and agriculture.

The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. and will feature several key highlights, including:

  • Election of three individuals to the Board of Directors
  • Presentation of the Annual Report and Financial Overview
  • Service to Agriculture Award presentation
  • Statewide updates from all NRRA radio stations

“We’re proud of what this organization continues to represent- local ownership, trusted agriculture coverage, and a commitment to serving rural Nebraska,” said Tim Marshall, chief executive officer of the Nebraska Rural Radio Association. “Our annual meeting is a chance to reconnect with the people who make this organization possible and to celebrate the strength of rural communities across the state.”

A complimentary lunch will be provided, but members are asked to RSVP in advance by contacting the KRVN office.
