May 21, 2026 (Norfolk, Neb.) — Work is expected to start on or about June 1st, weather permitting, on Highway 30 between Silver Creek and Duncan, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Work will include milling, asphalt, culvert, sidewalk with ADA upgrades and bridge work. Traffic will be controlled with temporary traffic signals and flaggers. There will be a 12-foot width restriction for the bridge work. The project is expected to be finished sometime this fall. Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
