Memorial visitation for Ben Gustafson age 51 of Dubois, WY, will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point, NE.
Ben passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Franciscan Healthcare in West Point, NE.
Benjamin Daniel Gustafson was born July 28, 1974 in Wayne, NE to Daniel and Sharon (Beckman) Gustafson. He grew up in Wakefield, NE attending Wakefield Public School. Ben graduated from Wakefield High School in 1992 and later attended Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE. At an early age, he began working for John Sandahl Farms.
In December of 1995, he married Alison Beacom. Ben worked various jobs, driving truck, Reppert Farms at West Point and as a utility lineman.
In July of 2015, he married Stef Stratmann and resided in Dubois, WY, where he worked for the WDOT and they owned and operated WyoAuto Glass Specialists.
Ben loved to hunt, fish, snowmobile, work on his projects, and doing anything outdoors. He enjoyed assisting his boys while they did motocross and anything outside with his daughter Evy. Ben was always the life of the party, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, also attending truck and tractor pulls.

Ben was preceded in death by his grandparents.
